Los Pinillos is a great destination. We started our walk from Cenes de la Vega, just outside Granada. But you can start from downtown Granada , and just follow the river upstream.
Los Pinillos is a well known restaurant and when the weather is nice they will open the outdoor service just across the road. We ordered some drinks and got our tapas, which was nice, but nothing spectacular. However after an hours walk in the sun, a beer and any tapas will do.
